This classic pasta dish is like mac and cheese for grown-ups but kids will love it, too.
Ingredients
- ½ (16 oz) box spaghetti
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Steps
- Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup cooking liquid.
- Heat butter in a skillet and cook the pepper for 1 min. Stir in reserved cooking liquid and ¾ cup Parmesan cheese. Stir until cheese has melted and sauce is creamy. Add pasta and toss to coat. Add the remaining ¼ cup cheese and toss again. Season with salt (in moderation) and pepper to taste.
Tips
Finish with freshly chopped parsley.
