Store-bought sugar cookies get a Halloween skeleton upgrade thanks to melted chocolate and a sugar glaze in this easy 4-ingredient dessert.
- 1 ½ cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 12 sugar cookies
- 4 oz dark chocolate
- In a shallow bowl, stir together the sugar and milk until smooth. Dip tops of cookies into glaze and let sit on wire rack, glazed-sides up, until glaze is set.
- Chop the chocolate and add to microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-sec. intervals, until melted, stirring in between intervals. Let cool 10 min., until slightly thickened. Transfer to small resealable bag or piping bag.
- With kitchen shears, snip small hole in corner of bag. When glaze is set, pipe chocolate onto glaze to form eyes, nose, and mouth.
