You don't need to wait in line or brave acoustic folk just to get a decent chai latte. With this easy 15-minute recipe, you can become your own barista!
Ingredients
- 4 bags chai tea
- 1 fresh vanilla bean
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Steps
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Divide tea bags among 4 mugs. Use a sharp knife to split the vanilla bean lengthwise, scrape out the beans (reserving the pod for another use), and divide evenly among the mugs.
- Fill each mug with boiling water and allow 4 min. to steep. When liquid has cooled slightly, top each with ¼ cup almond milk and garnish with cinnamon.
